Fuente Fuente OpusX Love Story
To celebrate Don Carlos and Anna Fuente's 55th wedding anniversary, Carlos Fuente, Jr., created the Fuente Fuente OpusX Love Story. Fifty-five numbered and signed boxes of these special cigars were sent to 55 Cigar Family members in a fundraiser that raised $5,500 for the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation.

This is why I love LA!

Four Levels of Nightlife Mayhem in Hollywood
In a town where walking down the street draws a firestorm of flashbulbs, you've got to get really creative to draw attention elsewhere.
Like opening a surreal four-story funhouse of nightlife mayhem right on Hollywood Boulevard. The Kress kicks off its grand opening Friday.
Originally opened as a department store in 1934, the landmark has been pumped with millions to create a 38,000-square-foot amalgam of dance floors, bars, pan-Asian cuisine and special-events hideaways—you may want to leave a trail of bread crumbs to find your way out. Starting at the bottom, the basement dance floor is surrounded by VIP booths and more purple than Prince's house. (If the women you're with are taking longer than usual in the bathroom, it's probably because there's a champagne bar within…where they can rave about you in peace.)
Now thats why I love LA.....

Repairing a damaged cigar with pectin!

Brothers and Sisters - this is a use for pectin I can understand, and relate to!
"With a little patience and a box of pectin these problems can be quickly remedied to make that banged up cigar smokable."

Shopping! On the Mall with Urban Daddy....
Charlie Palmer at Bloomingdale's
....... if you find yourself down south in an Orange County mall—stranger things could happen—you now have a dining option.
Presenting: Charlie Palmer at Bloomingdale's.
Here to address all your denim and Cabernet needs simultaneously, the restaurant is located on the ground level of the department store. Once settled in, you'll be handed a touch-screen database of the 850-bottle wine list, kind of like a giant iPhone you can use to sort the vast selection by region, varietal or food pairing. (It's delivered by a sommelier of the human variety, if you prefer to do things the old-fashioned way.) You can also compile your digital findings into wine-bottle six-packs—grouped however you see fit—at the connected wine shop, Next Vintage. (That's right—it's a restaurant, it's a wine shop, it’s a Bloomingdale's.)
As for the food, your shopping break will consist of Lemongrass Poached Lobster, Pancetta Wrapped Quail, or if you just want to hit the bar on your way to the cologne section, a PBLT (pork belly, lettuce, tomato).
Try finding that at the Beverly Center food court.

Women must remain In Transition!
a Woman is such a unique individual, viewed as complex and perhaps the holder of many different shades of the rainbow - and to some members of the opposite gender, a little difficult to figure out at times....
its not that we choose to be difficult, but for us - life can thrust us forward in a most peculiar, and unannounced manner. One day, week, month or decade we could be toting the "Soccer Mom" handle, and out from left field - boom, we're changing our own oil, taking out the trash, and scouring through the classifieds trying to pick up our professional careers where we left off..
And sometimes, just sometimes - being "In Transition" gets us a wee bit cranky...
So, gentlemen, please forgive us - It's Not Easy being Green....
